Slip of the tongue

This was the chosen cartoon, done and dusted, but at the last minute there was a call that Ramaphosa had accepted Nene's resignation and the swearing in of Tito Mboweni was taking place.  Panic stations but luckily I was able to adapt the concept of one of the rejected roughs into a finished cartoon.

It's the mid term budget tomorrow and a debut for our new Finance Minister, Nhlanhla Nene. It's bound to be a balancing act and a juggling act and the result looks certain to be a shortfall with no safety net!
