South Africa's parliamentary circus continues with the young lions of the EFF call up to face the ANC dominated Powers and Privileges Committee. Instead of jumping through hoops they decided to walk off stage, leaving the parly speaker somewhat upstaged.

The headline reads:"Bus budget cuts out pupils". Due to possible corrupt practises added to poor planning and mis-manangement, 39 000 young rural scholars will have to walk to school and back every day. These kids are the future of our country - do we want to end up with another generation of uneducated, unemployable citizens, Mr. Zuma ? Or are you going to miss the bus again?

Flat economy

Old grumpy grouch Gwede Mantashe has been having a go at business investors, accusing them of going on strike against the economy. What he ignores is the fact that the top heavy, corrupt government is affecting the economic bottom line.

South African Airways is owned by the state and therefore is subsidized by the taxpayer.  For the past few years they have received literally billions of rand to keep flying.  To add insult to injury, SAA flights are expensive and of course the in flight bag of peanuts really leaves you feeling like you're being treated like a monkey.
