A R 10 million taxi hire scandal, buses withdrawn from service and only six left to transport people, the never-ending chaos surrounding the Gonubie road construction.... and then there are the POTHOLES !

A follow on from yesterday's lead story.  Someone was paid six million rand to transport the local community to various events to commemorate Nelson Mandela's passing. Allegedly this job wasn't put out to tender and the address of the so-called company seems fake. Added to this that three of the four events were ANC party events so why was my (and other ratepayers') money used to cart ANC supporters to a party event? Double fail Buffalo City Council !!

Missing the bus

Buffalo City Metro drops the ball again.  How can our city's public transport survive on only 6 buses? Well, if you are driven in a luxury vehicle paid for by the poor ratepayers, I suppose its just not an issue.  Talk about about going backwards.
