loyalty and royalty

 I wonder how many right thinking South Africans have faith in our delectable Communications minister.  Not satisfied with having a public broadcaster that lionizes the ruling party and refuses to broadcast opposition activities, now she's mooting a black, state-owned media house that will only place govt. advertising with 'connected' media.  Hello Zimbabwe.

Newly crowned King Zwelonke Sicgawu of the Amaxhosa is bemoaning the fact that King Zwelethini of the Amazulu gets preferential treatment and a huge annual budget compared to the other kings.  Well I agree, cut Zelethini's salary to match the rest and while we're about it, let the various kings' loyal subjects pay for him and not the poor taxpayer, like me, who does not have a 'traditional leader'.
