This was the day the Eastern Cape was inundated with torrential rain and flooding. I had just started with this concept when the heavens opened. The rest of the morning was spent trying to stop water from flooding the property, unblocking drains and getting soaking wet. We had about 200mm of rain in a couple of hours. I sent off this one idea, which I thought was workable but the editor on duty wanted to see other options. I was wet, tired and miserable so this is as far as the idea went and the had to use a photo in the cartoon leader page spot.
