High stakes game
Well, I can't win. The editors always favour a positive outlook for the cartoon but when I try and oblige, the choose the one with the critical message. Go figure.
Something isn't working here.
At the last minute, the powers that be decided I should remove the AI reference in the cartoon. Despite my protests that this was the whole point of the joke, they said take it out. So this is what was published. I'm sure there were some super confused readers out there but if I argued too much I would be looking for a new job too!
